God wants to use you in the lives of people around you at your workplace, in your neighborhood, and among your family and friends. It is so easy to lose sight of that with all the to-do’s and busyness of the day. We feel that right alongside you! The Disciplemaker Network meets quarterly with food and childcare provided.

Mission

To establish a network of disciplemakers in the city of Nashville that inspires courage and offers support in the sacrificial call of Jesus to live and disciple among the lost.

Vision

Making disciples is hard work.  It’s against the grain of our flesh and our culture to take so much initiative.  Anyone who perseveres to make disciples in their lives will experience many highs along with many lows.  It can be easy to lose heart along the way.

Making disciples is often lonely work.  The laborers are few because the sacrifice is high.  Most people who persevere to make disciples will not be able to do it without a team, nor were they intended to. Without encouragement and reinforcement from others, the vision is often lost.

We envision a network of disciplemakers in Nashville who gather to sharpen iron and scatter to engage the world.  They are like-minded believers who have a growing passion to labor life-to-life with people where they live, work, play, and worship.  They seek to trust God, take risks, share the good news, and build up to maturity.  They are practitioners who agree that the gospel that came to them is meant to flow through them into their spheres of influence...and they help others to own the same vision.  The vision is lived out among a network of everyday people marked by love and appreciation for one another.  By God’s grace, the network catalyzes a disciplemaking movement in neighborhoods, workplaces, and churches across the city.

Six (not so easy) Steps

1. Make a list - a list of people in your life.

2. Pray for those on your list.

3. Love them well - spend time with them, serve, do good.

4. Lead them towards Christ - share the gospel in word and deed.

5. Help them grow - teach them to obey Jesus.

6. Community - do this with friends

We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well because you had become so dear to us.
